We are very excited to finally present our first artist collaboration with Alejandra Venegas from Mexico City. The process of creating these series of intervened Ladrillo bags consisted of long hours and beautiful conversations between the artist, Andrea (the brand's Chief designer), the master cabinetmaker Daniel Díaz, and the woods we used.
About the artist
Alejandra Venegas Geffroy was born in Mexico City in 1986. She studied a B.A. in Visual Arts at La Esmeralda National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving (Mexico City). She has participated in many international collective and solo exhibitions and Biennials. She currently has a solo exhibition at Zona Maco art fair with gallery Dürst Britt & Mayhew in Mexico City.
Every piece is signed by the artist and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
